Website + eCommerce: Orders
Purpose
This document covers how to navigate around the different filtered views you can access through the Orders menu in the backend of the Website app within Odoo 16.
Process
To get started, navigate to the Website App.
Orders
Once there, go to eCommerce > Orders. This will take you to a filtered view of confirmed sales orders from the website. Here you can see the status of each order and further detail.
Unpaid Orders
Click on eCommerce > UNPAID ORDERS. This will automatically filter you to orders with unpaid invoices.
Abandoned Carts
Click on ORDERS > abandoned carts. This will take you to a filtered view of the abandoned carts. This is essentially a sales order from the website left in Quotation status.
Send a Recovery Email
Click on any order in the abandoned cart view. Click on Send a Recovery Email.
This will send an email to your customer reminding them of an abandoned order. By reminding the client of their cart, you increase the probability of them following through with their order.

Customers
Click on eCommerce > Customers. This is the same view you'll find through the initial Contacts application view. For more information, see our Contacts documentation.
