Hibou Odoo Suite: Payroll Modules: Date on Payslip Lines

The purpose of this documentation is to outline the use cases and processes associated with Hibou's Date on Payslip Lines module for Odoo, which allows users to group by date on the Payslip Line search view. Additionally, it allows filtering by 'Date Account' for easier period reporting.

First thing's first, we want to install the module!  Navigate to the Apps application and search for 'Date on Payslip Lines'. When ready, click install .

To get started, navigate to the Payroll application.

This will take you to a filtered view of payslip lines for this particular payslip. The filter is named Batch (previously named Account Date) and will have your payslips grouped by date as the default search.

If we remove the Batch group-by filter, we can see all payslip lines, We can also filter by Date Account in order to make period reporting easier than ever! From the Filter menu, select the last day of the period you are reporting on. Additionally, you can add more Group By selections, such as Employee or Salary Journal, to drill-down further.

This module adds a new 'Date Account' field to the Payslip Lines model which is taken from the payslips date field. This field is then used in a new group by view for payslip lines to group them by the payslip date.
